Overview

As a Technical Business Analyst (Nuvolo), you will serve as a critical bridge between business stakeholders, end users, and technical teams to define, document, and validate requirements for implementations or enhancements of the Nuvolo Connected Workplace Platform. Nuvolo supports enterprise asset management, facilities and space management, clinical engineering, maintenance operations, work-order workflows, space utilization, and more — all within an integrated, configurable workplace management system.

You will gather and analyze business and functional needs, map them to Nuvolo/ServiceNow modules and configurations, and produce clear, structured documentation. You will create user stories and technical system integration specifications. You’ll also track deliverables against schedule, manage changes, help mitigate risks related to requirements or data/workflow design, and ensure that project outputs meet stakeholder expectations, compliance requirements, and operational goals.

Your contributions will help transform complex facility, asset, and service-management needs into practical Nuvolo/ServiceNow configurations—enabling improved operational efficiency, data integrity, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Elicitation, Mapping & Analysis

  • Engage with stakeholders, facility/asset managers, clinical engineering, maintenance staff, contractors, and end users to gather business, functional, and operational and technical requirements related to asset management, system integration, maintenance, space allocation, work orders, preventive maintenance, inventory, and facility services.
  • Translate business and operational requirements into technical specifications, user stories, configuration requirements, and acceptance criteria targeting Nuvolo modules (e.g., Asset Management, Work Order Management, Space/Facility, Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, Field Service).
  • Analyze complex technical and business problems and develop data-focused user stories with acceptance criteria and technical specifications to implement system integrations.
  • Refine user stories with the development team detailing out clear acceptance criteria that can be used to establish the definition of done for each story.
  • Demonstrate completed user stories at the end of each sprint to key stakeholders

Nuvolo Configuration & Process Design Support

  • Work with configuration specialists and technical teams to map requirements into Nuvolo/ServiceNow configuration design: data models, workflows, statuses, roles/permissions, maintenance schedules, space management rules, inventory tracking, assets/work orders, etc.
  • Help design standard operating procedures (SOPs), business processes, and workflow diagrams to align with Nuvolo/ServiceNow’s capabilities.
  • Review and validate proposed workflows or configuration plans for accuracy, compliance, and operational feasibility.

Documentation & Governance

  •  Create and maintain comprehensive documentation in plain, clear language, including:
  •  Functional and technical requirements
  •  Process maps and workflow diagrams
  •  Configuration requirements and business rules
  •  Data definitions and data model diagrams
  •  Requirements traceability matrices
  •  SOPs for users, administrators, and maintainers
  •  Own documentation as a deliverable—ensuring clarity, consistency, and accessibility across stakeholder groups (business, technical, operations).

Data & Workflow Validation, Testing Support

  • Support testing efforts (system testing, user acceptance testing) by validating that Nuvolo/ServiceNow configurations meet documented requirements and business rules.
  • Verify data integrity, referential data (asset IDs, location codes, maintenance history), configuration settings (work order statuses, user permissions, space/asset associations), and workflow performance.
  • Collaborate with data or support teams to ensure proper data migration, data mapping, and configuration migration when implementing or updating Nuvolo/ServiceNow modules.

Other Duties as Assigned

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or similar role — preferably in enterprise asset management, facilities management, healthcare, clinical engineering, or maintenance operations.
  • Highly proficient in areas like ServiceNow, SQL, data analysis tools, APIs, cloud computing and system integrations
  • Strong understanding of systems, workflows, data models, and configuration-driven applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to translate complex technical or operational requirements into clear, actionable documentation.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks or streams concurrently (requirements gathering, configuration mapping, documentation, testing).
  • Familiarity or readiness to learn configuration-based systems (such as Nuvolo), data model design, workflow mapping, and business process documentation.
  • Experience with requirements management and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, SharePoint).
  • Knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and system implementation lifecycles.
Education and Certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field — plus experience in requirements elicitation or system implementation.
  • Agile certification (e.g., CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with the Department of Veterans Affairs, healthcare providers, clinical engineering, facilities management, or government contracting.
  • Familiarity with maintenance operations, asset lifecycle management, preventive maintenance workflows, space/facilities management, or supply chain/inventory operations.
  • Experience working with or supporting Nuvolo or similar CMMS/EAM/workplace-management platforms.
  • Experience with SOP development, configuration governance, or operational process documentation.
  • Understanding compliance standards, data integrity, and regulatory documentation requirements.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with federal or regulated clients.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability
Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026
Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
