  • Mission Support: Specializing in System Engineering Technical Assistance and operations support services to streamline system integration and optimization while ensuring operational excellence for modern enterprises.

We are seeking a talented and experienced technical Implementation Manager to join our rapidly growing Data and Analytics team.  The Data Analytics Implementation Manager will lead cross-functional teams in executing data-driven initiatives from planning through delivery.  The ideal candidate will bring industry and data and analytics related technical experience in addition to Project Management expertise. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse data projects across Commercial, Federal, State & Local and Higher Education clients.     


 

Key Responsibilities  

Project Planning and Scoping: 

  • Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables for data and analytics initiatives. 

  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business goals. 

Team Management and Coordination: 

  • Lead cross-functional teams of full stack data analysts, data engineers, solution architects, data scientists and subject matter experts. 

  • Coordinate and facilitate communication between team members and client stakeholders. 

  • Manage and allocate project resources effectively to ensure optimal utilization. 

Data Governance and Quality Assurance: 

  • Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures. 

  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the project lifecycle. 

  • Implement processes for data validation, cleansing, and transformation. 

Analytics and Reporting: 

  • Oversee the development and implementation of analytical models and reporting solutions. 

  • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to define analytical requirements and methodologies. 

  • Facilitate the interpretation and communication of data-driven insights to stakeholders. 

Risk and Issue Management: 

  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines, quality, or costs. 

  • Develop and implement contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies. 

  • Monitor project performance and take corrective actions as needed. 

Stakeholder Management and Communication: 

  • Establish effective communication channels with project stakeholders and sponsors. 

  • Provide regular project status updates and progress reports. 

  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project goals. 

Continuous Improvement: 

  • Evaluate project performance and identify areas for process optimization. 

  • Implement best practices and lessons learned from previous projects. 

  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team. 


 

Required Qualifications  

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics or a related field. 

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent (e.g. Agile). 

  • Proven track record of successfully managing data and analytics projects end-to-end, with discipled scope and budget management processes.  

  • Strong understanding of data management principles, data modeling, and data analytics techniques. 

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik). 

  • Working knowledge of database management concepts and technologies (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake). 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. 

  • Strong leadership and team management skills. 

  • Skilled in conflict resolution and negotiation. 


 

Preferred Qualifications  

  • Participation in the implementation of complex data and analytics solutions for Government or Commercial clients in Pharma, Biotech, CPG, Retail or Manufacturing industries.  

  • Strong client and partner networks.
